Since 2023, the Latin Recording Academy®’s initiatives in Andalucía have generated more than €195 million in economic and reputational benefits, boosting Andalucía’s status as Europe’s Latin music hub.
The impact includes €96.3 million in direct economic activity, €98.7 million from media exposure, €7.5 million in public revenue, and the creation of 1,360 temporary jobs. The latest study by ATREVIA highlights Andalucía’s rising global profile, fueled by events like the Latin GRAMMYs® in Seville—the first outside the U.S.—which alone brought over €186 million in impact in 2023.
Minister Arturo Bernal noted these events not only benefit the regional economy but also strengthen Andalucía’s presence in American markets as a leading European destination for major cultural events.
The partnership has significantly elevated Andalucía’s cultural landscape, positioning the region as a hub for Latin music, arts, and tourism, and fostering emerging talent through dedicated educational programs.
