Kid Rock to Headline New Year’s Eve Festivities at Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino; Two Shows Planned for December 30 and December 31

Kid Rock will headline a New Year’s Eve extended weekend at Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Kid Rock will perform two shows; one on Sunday, December 30 at 8 p.m. and one on Monday, New Year’s Eve, December 31 at 9:30 p.m.  Tickets go on sale October 20 at noon.

 

Kid Rock is set to release his new album Rebel Soul on November 19, 2012. The album is a return to form for the genre-bending superstar, featuring a wide selection of the styles Kid Rock fans have known and love.  The album was self-produced by Kid Rock. The lead single, “Let’s Ride,” is already skyrocketing up the radio charts, with a companion video to premiere, shortly.  Kid Rock also just launched a new video with friend Sean Penn dubbed “Americans,” which can be seen on YouTube and KidRock.com.

 

The multi-talented musician’s last release, Born Free, went platinum and its title track became a signature song for Kid Rock, hitting the top tiers of the charts and becoming a concert staple.

 

Rock & Roll Jesus (2007), Kid Rock’s previous album, debuted at #1 and stayed on the charts for 100 weeks, becoming the biggest selling Rock album of 2008. His single “All Summer Long” hit #1 in eight countries.

 

Kid Rock has a unique ability to genre-hop, marking his territory everywhere. He has hosted the CMT Awards, twice, and has performed at events ranging from the Grammy’s to the VMAs, EMAs and CMAs to the Hip Hop Honors. Kid Rock became the first musician to play in a recorded concert for television at Elvis Presley’s Graceland in 2011 when PBS taped an episode for their Live from the Artists Den. On April 14, 2012, Rock, along with Travis McCoy, Black Thought,?uestlove and The Roots, performed a medley of Beastie Boys classics at the 2012 Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony.

 

He has performed for troops overseas numerous times and remains one of entertainment’s most vocal supporters of our soldiers abroad.  His leads philanthropic efforts through his own Kid Rock Foundation that is committed to helping those less fortunate. His Care Tour raised over $400,000 for local charities in tour markets. This past May, he performed a benefit concert with the Detroit Orchestra and raised $1 million dollars.
