The Miami Foundation is hosting its 14th annual “Give Miami Day”, a 24-hour event to support over 1,300 local nonprofits. As one of the largest single-city giving days in the country, it’s a powerful opportunity for Miami residents to demonstrate “mass generosity” and help shape a better Miami.
Early giving has already begun, and donations start at just $25—100% of which go directly to the nonprofits making a difference in our community. Last year, the event raised a record $39.5 million from over 100,000 donations, showcasing the community’s commitment to collective change.
This year, for the first time, the “Give Miami 5K and Festival” will take place on Sunday at Maurice A. Férre Park. Participants can run, walk, or dance for their favorite causes, with all registration fees supporting nonprofits or issues they care about.
Why It Matters:
Many grassroots organizations have small budgets but are vital to our community’s health and growth. Your support helps bridge funding gaps created by budget cuts and rising community needs.
