On September 28th, renowned luxury brand Jimmy Choo joins forces with longtime supporter Lisa Mendelson to host a charitable shopping event at the Shops at Merrick Park boutique. The event aims to raise funds for Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade, an organization dedicated to empowering local youth and providing them with essential resources for a brighter future.
Guests attending the event, which will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., will have the exclusive opportunity to preview and shop from Jimmy Choo’s highly anticipated Autumn 2023 collection. As they peruse the boutique, sipping on bubbles and wine, a portion of the sales proceeds will directly contribute to supporting Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s crucial programs and services.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade has been making a positive impact in the community since its establishment in 1946. From humble beginnings as a single building for boys, it has grown into six Clubs and sites that serve thousands of boys and girls throughout the year. The organization’s comprehensive programs encompass character and leadership development, educational enhancement, career preparation, health and life skills, cultural arts, sports, and fitness.
Funds raised from the shopping event will specifically aid Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s educational after-school programs, tutoring and homework assistance, computer training, social skills development, dance, arts and crafts, mentoring, and summer and athletic programs. By participating in this event, attendees will contribute to helping children reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
