JAUME PLENSA VIP EVENT
Private dinner in honor of international contemporary artist Jaume Plensa, whose series of three color-shifting resin figures, set atop 35-foot stainless steel poles, will be installed this month on the future site of the Residences at Park Grove in Coconut Grove (Miami). Two of the three identical figures were presented in Collins Park on Miami Beach in December 2012 at Art Public | Art Basel Miami Beach. Calling the piece Poets in Miami at that time, the artist described them as “silent figures dreaming and talking with colors. They are sharing a silent conversation in the sky of Miami – a conversation from their hearts.”
