Hand-crafted margarita flight served in specialized Riedel tequila glasses showcases three distinctive flavor profiles.
National Margarita Day calls for more than just salt and lime. At Jacinta de Mexico, the newly opened Mexican restaurant known for its devotion to authenticity and tradition, the holiday becomes an opportunity to explore the artistry behind Mexico’s most iconic cocktail.

On February 20, Jacinta will unveil its “Taste of Tulum,” a curated tasting experience that elevates the beloved drink into a journey of flavor, craft and culture. Presented on a handsome wooden base and served in specialized Riedel tequila glasses, the flight features three distinctive expressions:
The Classic: Fresh lime and lemon verbena deliver a bright, herbaceous take on tradition
La Famosa: Apple purée, fresh lime and triple sec create a fruit-forward twist with balanced sweetness
Sandy’s: Watermelon purée with a salted rim brings a refreshing, lightly spiced finish
Each margarita is hand-crafted with smokey mezcal tequila and fresh ingredients, reflecting the same commitment to quality that defines Jacinta’s approach to Mexican cuisine.

“National Margarita Day at Jacinta is about more than marking a date on the calendar. It’s about sharing a moment and rediscovering why this drink has captivated generations,” said Lalo Durazo, DZO Hospitality CEO and creator of Jacinta. “With this flight, we wanted to honor that legacy while inviting guests to discover how a few thoughtful ingredients can transform something familiar into something truly special.”
The presentation itself is intentional. Riedel’s tequila-specific glassware enhances the aromatic complexity of each margarita, while the wooden base adds a tactile, artisanal element to the experience. It’s an invitation to slow down and appreciate the craftsmanship present in every sip.
The Taste of Tulum will be available on February 20 and throughout National Margarita Day weekend for $24. Jacinta de Mexico is located at Aventura Mall near the Bloomingdale’s entrance at 19501 Biscayne Blvd. Reservations are available on OpenTable. For more information, visit jacintarestaurant.com.
