The debut of Sweat USA powered by Reebok – the nation’s first All-Star Fitness Festival – promised to make South Florida sweat over Columbus Day Weekend, and over delivered on its oath as more than 3,000 wellness enthusiasts attended The Miami Beach Convention Center to take their health and fitness lifestyle to the next level, with the support of The Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority.

Sweat USA Fitness Festival and Expo, considered to be the first event of it’s kind in the country, saw the nation’s wellness industry converge under one roof, as some of today’s most renowned personalities from the world of health and fitness touched the lives of thousands of fans, who traveled from as far as Brazil and the United Kingdom to workout alongside their idols and experience the latest industry trends. Jillian Michaels joined esteemed fitness personalities Tony Horton (P90X) and Shaun T. (Insanity), among an abundance of other celebrated names, to bring a weekend of highly anticipated physiological excellence to over 100,000 square foot of exhibition space in the epicenter of South Beach.

The three-day event comprised of a cutting-edge daily fitness, health and wellness Expo, encompassing more than 100 exhibitors showcasing today’s most advanced and progressive health and fitness brands and wellness solutions, ranging from nutritional plans, dietary supplements and training equipment through to home-based exercise resources, gym programs and the latest beauty products. Starting on Saturday, October 12th, Sweat USA initiated its schedule of morning and afternoon workout sessions, featuring a series of classes conducted by Sweat USA’s headlining celebrity fitness trainers. The wide variety of classes brought experiences ranging from Zumba, Yoga, Pilates, Flywheel Cycling, MMA, Crossfit, Piloxing and Surfset, to the most serious fitness professional and for the more casual health enthusiast looking to diversify their workout routine.

“Our inaugural event in Miami Beach was a resounding success,” said Joseph Anthony, founder of Sweat USA and VITAL Sports & Entertainment. “This weekend began our five-year mission towards Sweat USA establishing Miami as the true fitness capital of the world and our unprecedented event concept attracted people from more than 20 states and seven countries around the world. We would like to thank the City of Miami Beach as well as our amazing sponsors and partners for helping to make Sweat USA a massive hit. We look forward to returning next year when fitness enthusiasts across the country and internationally can expect an even bigger Sweat!”
