Hyundai Hope on Wheels Celebrates 27 Years of Supporting Pediatric Cancer Research with $27 Million in 2025 Grants

Hyundai Hope on Wheels, a leading nonprofit dedicated to pediatric cancer research, is marking its 27th anniversary by awarding $27 million in research grants nationwide for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 seasons. Since its founding in 1998, the organization has donated a total of $277 million, supporting over 1,400 projects across more than 175 institutions.

This year’s grants include 106 awards, such as 31 Hyundai Scholar Hope Grants at $400,000 each, 16 Hyundai Young Investigator Grants at $300,000 each, 57 Hyundai Impact Grants at $100,000, and two Hyundai Bridge2K Grants at $150,000. These funds support innovative research and treatment development in the fight against childhood cancer.

Hyundai Hope on Wheels maintains a strong presence in Miami, supporting institutions like Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, which is among the recipients. The organization’s ongoing commitment continues to drive breakthroughs and hope for children battling cancer across the U.S.
