A new study from Heineken reveals that despite 94% of Americans being part of group chats, only 29% meet their friends in person more than once a month. Yet, 80% wish they could connect more offline, and 83% say in-person meetups leave them feeling energized and recharged.

To champion real-life connections, Heineken launched the “Group Chat Bar” — a pop-up in NYC inspired by pro-basketball star Josh Hart and his “Cold Water” group chat. The bar transformed inside jokes and memes into a live experience, emphasizing that nothing beats real-world socializing.
