HCOA Fitness for Women, the leading ladies-only fitness center, has partnered with Lotus House to host their first annual Energy Challenge in Miami. The event will take place on Saturday May 3, 2014 from 2-6 p.m. at HCOA’s Miami Lakes location, located at 6625 Miami Lakes Drive, Suite 100. in Miami Lakes, Fla.
The HCOA Energy Challenge is an event created to promote health, fitness and wellness in the community. Each year HCOA partners with a non-profit organization to which all proceeds are donated. The event was first launched last year in Puerto Rico with a successful outcome, attracting over 2,000 attendees. This year, HCOA has brought the event to its Miami Lakes location for a more intimate Miami launch. The HCOA energy challenge will feature live music, a Zumba marathon, a XCO Fitness class, cycling, functional training and much more.
“We are very excited to be launching this event in Miami. It was a great success in Puerto Rico and we feel we can accomplish the same here. Our members have been prepping for the past month and have helped raise awareness of the Lotus House cause, ” said Monica Rincon, HCOA Fitness for Women District Manager.
The event is opened to the general public and a minimum donation of $5 is required to participate. To RSVP contact HCOA Fitness for Women at 305-556-8377. All proceeds will be donated to Lotus House.
“HCOA Fitness prides itself in partnering up with philanthropical entities, like Lotus House to
bring together our members and the community for a great cause, while promoting health and fitness. Together we can make a difference in the community,” said Juan Ortega, HCOA Fitness CEO.
