Hallmark Movies Now, Hallmark Media’s fast-growing subscription streaming service, is adding eight additional Hallmark original movies, seasons 1-9 of “Touched by an Angel,” and continues with new episodes of Hallmark Channel’s “Ride,” as it offers subscribers a fresh slate of programming.

In the premiere, the angel Monica (Downey) is excited at being promoted to the job of caseworker, a notch up from search and rescue missions, which finally gives her the chance to be seen by humans. Her first assignment is to stay close to David (guest star T.J. Lowther), a 10-year-old who initially appears to be a runaway, riding alone on a bus in the desert and pilfering tips from a pit stop waitress. But Monica soon discovers that David and his father, a police detective who works day and night, are trying to put their lives together following the death of his infant sister, an event which caused his mother (guest star Linda Hart) to run away from them. David, who spends a lot of time alone, is desperately trying to find her by taking bus trips to nearby small towns.

Addie (King) is the maid of honor for her sister’s destination wedding in Hawaii. Unwilling to accept this misfortune, Addie hires a local dive instructor, Jack (Mirchoff), to search for her lost treasure. Lone wolf Jack immediately clashes with Addie when she insists that she search with him, given she is Scuba certified and had previous dreams of a career in marine science. After they come to an agreement, Jack serves as her own personal tour guide of the island’s hidden gems. Will exploring the picturesque, romantic settings bring the two of them together or will opportunity be lost at sea?
‘MOONLIGHT IN VERMONT’

After fast-paced New York City high-end real estate broker Fiona Rangely (Chabert) gets dumped by her boyfriend, she escapes to her family’s quaint Vermont Inn for a few days to slow down and evaluate her life. When her ex-boyfriend Nate shows up at the Inn with a brand-new girlfriend, Fiona quickly devises a plan to win him back: pretend the handsome and very laid-back head chef Derek (Marks) is her new boyfriend! Emily’s feelings for Garrett grow but his potential move to New York, and the return of his ex-girlfriend, leave her questioning if they have a future together. Lucy (Sweetin) feels she’ll never meet her true love until she accidently spills hot mocha on handsome Jack (Haydn-Jones), a widower, who moved to town with his daughter Sophie (Guppy). Lucy also turns out to be Sophie’s teacher, and each time Jack and Lucy meet their attraction grows. But whenever their conversation gets too personal, Jack backs away and Lucy fears he’ll break her heart. Still, she falls for both Jack and Sophie, giving them a tour of her town, which ends with an indoor forest of rainbows that delights Sophie. In fact, her winning science fair project is all about rainbows, and when the class takes a field trip to chase them Sophie bursts into tears, missing her mom, who often sang “Over the Rainbow.” Worried he’ll disappoint Sophie if he can’t let Lucy in, Jack accepts a job in Miami. But hopefully he’ll soon realize you can’t have a rainbow without rain, and love can weather any storm.

Just as Maddie and Nate rekindle their romance, though, Nate learns that a career opportunity awaits him in Boston. Devastated to lose Nate again and unwilling to walk away from the life she’s built in her cherished hometown, Maddie returns the promise ring he gave her long ago and prepares for the grand reopening of her shop. When he arrives in Boston, Nate quickly realizes how much he left behind and must decide if his future lies in the city with work or in his hometown with Maddie.
