Goldflower Cannabis Unveils The Cannabis Advocate Portrait Series in Collaboration with Artist John Waguespack

PROPHET. MARLEY. KLIMT by

Goldflower Cannabis, a leading Florida-based cannabis company, announces its artist collaboration with contemporary artist John Waguespack, featuring The Cannabis Advocate Portrait Series: A Tribute in Light, Loss, and Liberation. The series will debut as a 120-foot mural at Goldflower’s Miami flagship this November.

The collection reimagines cannabis icons such as Bob Marley, Willie Nelson, and Ella Fitzgerald through Waguespack’s signature blend of painting, photography, and digital media, rooted in themes of personal loss and creative transformation. The portraits honor cannabis as a symbol of medicine, revolution, memory, and liberation.

Iconic works include:
Prophet. Marley. Klimt.: A gilded homage to Bob Marley as a divine messenger of love and freedom.
Legend. Willie. Scharf.: A psychedelic tribute to Willie Nelson’s activism, blending surrealism with country authenticity.
Advocate. Ella. Mutu.: A luminous portrait of Ella Fitzgerald, symbolizing sonic healing and rebellion.

This series celebrates the cultural and spiritual journey of cannabis from Jamaica to Miami, emphasizing its role in art, music, and activism. Angelo Lombardi, President of Goldflower Cannabis, states, “John’s work is a narrative of liberation and legacy—an honor to bring this vision to life and highlight the healing power of the plant.”
