Glass art gallery in Miami’s Little River neighborhood unveils new art by Avant Garde Glass, Sibelley, and Ksukebey, at Michelin Star restaurant, Boia De
Glass2Grass (G2G) Gallery, situated in the vibrant heart of Miami’s Little River Neighborhood, proudly announces its lineup of captivating events during the highly anticipated Miami Art Week, coinciding with the renowned Art Basel celebration. From December 5th to December 8th, the gallery will showcase a series of exclusive art releases, exhibitions, and unique fusion of art and culinary delight.
This event celebrates the talent of artists while allowing guests to mingle and learn about the intricate artistry behind the pieces on display.
December 5th: ElNew Glass Debut (12 pm – 7 pm)
Contemporary glass artist Elissa Newmeyer, known as ElNew Glass, releases a full body of work for initial viewing at Glass2Grass’s new gallery location. Featuring an array of decorative and functional glass in Elnew’s signature playfulness with color combinations and shapes. ElNew’s intricate and genre-pushing work will be available for viewing and purchase from 12-1pm for VIPs, 1-7pm for free admission. Complimentary wine, cold brew, and hors d’oeurves will be provided while supplies last.
December 6th: Kengtaro’s Inaugural Display (12 pm – 7 pm)
Legendary Japanese Glass Artist Kengtaro releases his first body of work at Glass2Grass’s gallery location. Featuring his distinct silver fuming and adorably sculpted glass amphibians, this elusive artist’s work is a rare sight to see in Miami. Kengtaro’s intricate and beautiful work will be available for viewing and purchase from 12-1pm for VIPs, 1-7 for free admission. Complimentary wine, cold brew, and hors d’oeurves will be provided while supplies last.
December 7th: Sibelley’s Artistic Return (12 pm – 7 pm)
Visionary Glass Sculptor and artist Sibelle Yüksek returns again to Glass2Grass for an intimate in-person release. Sibelley’s elegant and sleek artwork will be available for viewing and purchase from 12-1pm for VIPs, 1-7 for free admission. Sibelley will be in attendance throughout the event. Complimentary wine, cold brew, and hors d’oeurves provided while supplies last.
December 8th: “Glass & Gourmet” at Boia De (5 pm – 12 am)
Concluding the week’s festivities, Glass2Grass present “Glass & Gourmet” on December 8th at Michelin starred Boia De restaurant , an exclusive amalgamation of art and culinary excellence. Featuring an open winde and beer bar, musical performances, and stunning glass art from renowned artists Ksukebey, Sibelley, Kengtaro, Avant Garde Glass, and more, this event promises an evening of creative immersion and delicious dining. This event will also feature event-exclusive collaborative dishes between Boia De and local exotic fruit company Miami Fruit.
Starting with an exclusive VIP preview and plated dinner from 5:00 pm to 7:45 pm and followed by a general admission party from 8:30 pm to midnight, “Glass & Gourmet” aims to unite art enthusiasts and food lovers in a shared experience.
GA tickets will be $135 and VIP tickets will be $350. VIP ticket holders will receive an exclusive handcrafted borosilicate glass cup from Ksukebey, valued at $200, as well as $100 in buying credit from Glass2Grass, expiring December 30th, 2023. Tickets are available via Eventbrite.
Ticketholders are given early access to G2G Gallery’s entire Miami Art Week programming, including exhibitions by ElNew Glass on 12/5, Kengtaro on 12/6, and Sibelley on 12/7.
