The South Florida Brewery Will
Funky Buddha is bringing a taste of Bavaria to South Florida with its annual Oktoberfest celebration, taking place Friday, September 19 through Sunday, October 5 at the Funky Buddha Taproom in Oakland Park.
The free, multi-week festival will feature three German-style beers, all served on draft and brewed exclusively for the occasion:
- Buddhafest Märzen: a smooth and malty festbier
- Helles Lager: a crisp and refreshing German-style lager
- Doppelbock: a rich and full-bodied version of the classic bock style.
Guests can enjoy these seasonal brews in 32oz Oktoberfest steins (starting at $18) or as part of a special Oktoberfest Flight ($16), which also includes Funky Buddha’s flagship Floridian Hefeweizen and Amber Days, a German amber bock. Buddhafest Märzen will also be available in limited four-packs of 16 oz. cans.
To complement the beers, Funky Buddha’s kitchen will be offering guests traditional Bavarian fare, including Kartoffelpuffe
Beyond food and beer, throughout the taproom, guests can experience live music every weekend, Oktoberfest décor, and interactive games. Guests are encouraged to dress in traditional lederhosen and dirndls to add to the celebratory atmosphere. Funky Buddha’s Oktoberfest
