On Monday, February 19th, the Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO), proclaimed the Official Symphony Orchestra of the City of Miami, is returning to the Miami Design District (MDD) for a community open-air concert featuring legendary reggae sensations The Wailers! The event is free and open to the public.
Kicking off at 6:30PM, the MDD will be closing off NE 40th Street, paved by a signature red carpet to make way for the celebration. The concert is being produced in collaboration with famed musician and producer Emilio Estefan, and conducted by Maestro Eduardo Marturet. In addition to The Wailers, there will be special performances by pianist and singer Carlos Camilo; artist and vocalist Ana Villafañe; Country singer and songwriter Eric Lee; and Classical guitarist Luis Quintero.
