FOX’S REIMAGINED BAYWATCH BRINGS THE CALIFORNIA DREAM BACK TO LOS ANGELES THANKS TO THE STATE FILM COMMISSION’S 40% TAX CREDIT

The new Baywatch series will be filmed mainly in Los Angeles, supported by a 40% tax credit from the California Film Commission, the highest in its history. Production will take place along the iconic California coastline, including Venice Beach, with interior scenes at the historic FOX Studio Lot in Century City.

Scheduled to premiere during the 2026-27 season, the show is co-produced by FOX Entertainment and Fremantle, reviving the global phenomenon known for its sun-soaked beachscapes and massive international audience. The initiative boosts local jobs, tourism, and economy, reaffirming LA’s position as the entertainment capital.
