This Fall, Lapis Spa at Fontainebleau Miami Beach will invite renowned experts in the health and wellness fields to host unique workshops and classes for both guests and Miami locals, as part of the new Lapis Spa Wellness Series. This collective programming will kick-off in October and feature experts in the fields of yoga, detox, matchmaking and astrology.
The Lapis Spa Wellness Series was developed after a successful event earlier this year that featured esteemed astrologer and founder of AstrologyZone.com, Susan Miller. The popularity of this workshop inspired Fontainebleau’s Lapis team to partner with nationally and locally renowned experts in health, wellness, beauty and relationships to create unique events that offer overall well-being.
“The Lapis Spa Wellness Series is an evolution of Lapis’ core philosophy of whole body relaxation and rejuvenation,” said Josie Feria, Director of Spa Operations at Lapis Spa. “These hand-picked experts enhance our guests’ experiences through specialized programs that provide tools for long-lasting health and wellness,” continued Feria.
Launching in October, the series will kick off with a dynamic line-up of wellness experts from across the country, as well as invigorating experiences. These highly anticipated events will range from individual classes to all-day workshops for a more comprehensive wellness experience.
Fall and winter programming to include:
- Lapis Yoga Balanced By Green Monkey – Miami’s popular Green Monkey yoga studio will offer two weekly yoga flow classes led by Green Monkey instructors for $20 (all levels welcome). Lapis Yoga Balanced by Green Monkey classes will be available to resort guests and Green Monkey members at 8 AM on Fridays and 9 AM on Saturdays. Green Monkey will also host a special two-hour class taught by master yogi, Jonny Kest on Thanksgiving morning. Guests of the class will be asked to donate $25, and all proceeds will benefit the non-profit Voices for Children.
- Juicing Seminars with Dr. Etti – Throughout the Fall, Lapis will feature all-day “Cleanse Miami” workshops for guests and locals with renowned Miami Detox Doctor, Dr. Etti. Workshops will highlight wellness through juicing and the art of rejuvenation through activities and rituals. Workshops are currently scheduled for November 10 and December 15 and will include four juices, lectures and activities, including TaiChi, Yoga and Meditation. Each Cleanse Miami event will focus on different topics including, “Cleansing 101”, “Guilt-free Holidays” and “Celebrate You”. The cost for the entire day, including juices is $169.
- Matchmakers Lori Zaslow and Jennifer Zucher – Founders of Project Soulmate, Manhattan’s premier matchmaking service and the stars of BRAVO TV’s Love Brokers, matchmakers Lori Zaslow and Jennifer Zucher will host a lecture and Q & A geared towards the do’s and don’ts of dating on November 15th at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres. Locals and guests have two package options to choose from: for $49, one will receive access to the lecture; or for $169, one can add a Lapis Spa treatment.
- Susan Miller – On December 13th’s new moon, famed astrologer and founder of AstrologyZone, Susan Miller will return to Lapis to provide insight to locals and guests about 2013. The lecture and Q & A will include cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Locals and guests have two options to choose from: for $49, one will receive access to the lecture; or for $169, one can add a Lapis Spa treatment.
