Florida Freedom Go 2-1 at PBR Teams Event in Springfield, Rise to No. 3

The Florida Freedom showcased their talent over the weekend at the PBR Camping World Team Series event, finishing with a 2-1 record and climbing to third place in the league standings.

The action began on August 30 when the Freedom faced the reigning champions, the Texas Rattlers. Despite strong performances from Elizmar Jeremias and John Crimber, Florida fell just short, losing by 0.75 points, 173.5 to 174.25.

Eager to bounce back, the Freedom entered their next matchup against the Kansas City Outlaws on August 31 ready to make a statement. They did just that, snapping the Outlaws’ six-game win streak with a decisive 253.25 to 174.25 victory, highlighted by qualified rides from Joao Henrique Lucas, Alex Cerqueira, and Jeremias.

Advancing to the Shootout Round, the Freedom continued their winning momentum, with Crimber achieving an impressive 88.25-point ride on Rip.

On September 1, Florida concluded their weekend on a high note, dominating the Austin Gamblers with a commanding score of 348.75 to 172.75. Four riders contributed to the victory: Cerqueira, Joao Lucas Campos, Crimber, and Afonso Junior Quintino.

With this performance, the Florida Freedom improved to an 8-8 record for the season, moving up from fifth to third place in the league standings, now trailing the Carolina Cowboys by four game wins.

The PBR Camping World Team Series will next head to the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri, for Outlaw Days, set to begin September 6-8. Florida will have a bye on opening night.
