The Florida Freedom, the Sunshine State’s first professional bull riding team, has officially welcomed Ariat as their Official Apparel and Footwear Sponsor and Eli’s Western Wear as their Official Retail Sponsor for the upcoming 2024 season. This partnership was announced alongside plans for a special launch event at Eli’s Western Wear in Okeechobee, Florida, on July 20, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. ET.
During the launch party, fans can meet Freedom riders, including Casey Roberts and Gavan Hauck, and take part in family-friendly activities such as face painting and contests. Special discounts on Ariat merchandise will also be available.
DeVon Edwards, Associate General Manager of the Freedom, expressed enthusiasm about the partnerships, stating, “We are thrilled to welcome both Ariat and Eli’s Western Wear to the Florida Freedom family.” He noted both brands’ reputations for quality and customer service, highlighting their commitment to showcasing Florida’s bull riding culture.
Susan Alcala, Vice President of Partnership Marketing at Ariat, emphasized the excitement of supporting Florida’s first PBR team, while the Durrance family, owners of Eli’s Western Wear, celebrated their connection to the western lifestyle and the sport’s values.
Ariat, founded in 1993, is known for its innovative approach to equestrian and outdoor footwear, while Eli’s Western Wear has been a staple in the community since 1983, offering a wide range of western products.
The Florida Freedom will host their inaugural homestand, Freedom Days, on August 2-4, at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, where they will face the New York Mavericks, Oklahoma Wildcatters, and Missouri Thunder. Tickets are on sale now, starting at $20. Three-day packages are available with a 20% discount on select prices.
