FloraBelle: Now Open on Amelia Island

The Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa has unveiled its newly renovated beachfront breakfast restaurant, FloraBelle, inviting guests to indulge in a unique dining experience that beautifully blends southern hospitality with coastal elegance.

FloraBelle, now open for breakfast, presents a delightful fusion of flavors from its signature buffet, The Morning Table, and an enticing à la carte menu. Diners can savor their meals while soaking in breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, making every bite a feast for the senses.

The restaurant’s design is a tribute to the serene beauty of Amelia Island, capturing the timeless allure of southern charm while weaving in eclectic modern touches that offer a fresh perspective. Inspired by the ocean’s hues at sunrise, the interior bathes in warm, natural materials like walnut, woven rattan, and bleached white oak, all accented by muted brass that enhances the inviting atmosphere.

Latticework ornamentation above the banquettes pays homage to the Victorian architectural details found in the island’s historic homes, while vintage plates decorating the walls add a dash of southern charm, femininity, and whimsy. The carefully curated artwork showcases local flora and fauna alongside pieces from regional artists, further enriching the dining environment with a sense of place.

Complementing this elegant design are statement hand-sculpted plaster clam chandeliers and seashell sconces, which add a nautical essence to the space. This thoughtful blending of maritime aesthetics with the southern soul of Amelia Island creates an ambience that is bright, airy, and welcoming.

With FloraBelle, guests are invited not just to enjoy a meal, but to experience a harmonious connection between history and contemporary design.
