In an exciting development for the fashion industry, Informa Markets Fashion is set to host the first edition of MAGIC Miami. This regional event will bring together hundreds of trend and young contemporary apparel brands, as well as showcasing modern sportswear, footwear, accessories, home, gift, and beauty brands. The event is scheduled to take place on January 8-9, 2024, at the renowned Miami Beach Convention Center.
MAGIC Miami offers attendees and exhibitors the unique opportunity to explore the latest trends, place orders outside of the standard purchasing season, and connect with key industry players in a vibrant and international vacation destination. Miami, with its commerce, culture, sandy beaches, and year-round sunshine, has become a hotspot for fashion events. Coupled with iconic events such as Miami Swim Week, Art Basel, and Miami Fashion Week, the city is fast becoming an international fashion capital with a thriving arts scene.
Jordan Rudow, Vice President of MAGIC, emphasizes the importance of highlighting local brands and retailers contributing to Miami’s booming business ecosystem. “The southeast is a key region on the rise, with cities like Nashville and Miami making their marks in the fashion world,” says Rudow.
The event will feature notable local retailers, including Forema Boutique, Island Style Resort Wear at The Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale, Prinzzesa Boutique, and Mario Pucci. Exhibiting brands will include ASTR the Label, Sam Edelman, as well as Miami-based footwear brands Maker’s Shoes and Carrano USA.
