FANTASY FEST – Leave the young’uns at home and head for this non-stop, adult-themed mega-party. Highlights include costume competitions, island bands, pool parties, a scavenger hunt, a living art expo and great food. The theme for this year’s 43rd celebration is “Nineties Neon Cosmic Carnival!” Some of the highlights are the famous Fantasy Fest Parade, the Masquerade March (aka the “Locals Parade”), the Goombay Festival, concerts, theater productions, Heroes & Villains 5K run/walk, the always hilarious Pet Masquerade and the Headdress Ball.
