As you may have heard American Airlines has just announced its expanded winter schedule with eight new routes to Latin America and the Caribbean. Through this expansion American Airlines will now fly to more destinations in the Dominican Republic than any other airline with the launch of new service to the La Romana International Airport (LRM) at Casa de Campo Resort and Villas in December.
Departing from the Miami International Airport (MIA), the new flight to La Romana makes this the only U.S. airline flying into destination. This destination now joins the list of more than 20 others in the region where American Airlines provides the only nonstop service from the U.S. among major carriers.
The new daily service starts December 5th, and once passengers arrive in La Romana, they will be on the grounds of Casa de Campo Resort and Villas. Home to 7,000 acres of Caribbean living inclusive luxurious guestrooms and private villas, eight outstanding restaurants, three world-renowned golf courses designed by Pete Dye, an immaculate beach, and so much more guests will be in the heart of the Dominican countryside.
