EPIC, Kimpton’s new lifestyle, waterfront boutique hotel in downtown Miami, is featuring Kimpton’s Master Mixologist Jacques Bezuidenhout to kick-off the EPIC Wine Hour Presents: Art Of series as he showcases the “Art of Mixology”.
During the event, Bezuidenhout will prepare specialty drinks for attendees and discuss mixology as an art form. He will also answer questions, toast and mingle with guests on the hotel’s scenic 16th floor pool deck overlooking downtown Miami and Biscayne Bay.
Jacques Bezuidenhout is the Master Mixologist at EPIC’s Area 31 restaurant, which features a dramatic menu of fresh, premium seafood prepared with a Mediterranean influence and was recently recognized as “One of the Best New Restaurants of 2009” by Esquire magazine.
With over 16 years experience, Jacques is well known for his Million Dollar Cocktail at Harry Denton’s Starlight Room in San Francisco and works directly with Kimpton Hotel and Restaurant Group nationwide to create new beverage programs. Jacques was awarded “Best Bartender” by Anthony Dias Blue and received “Spirits Restaurant of the Year” from Santé Magazine.
