The Miami Dolphins have signed fullback Deon Anderson, it was announced today.
The 5-10, 240-pound Anderson was originally a sixth–round draft selection of the Dallas Cowboys in 2007. He has appeared in 39 games during his four year career, catching nine passes for 67 yards and a touchdown. Anderson was standout special teams performer and reliable fullback while at the University of Connecticut, and capped off his collegiate career by being named the teams’ Most Valuable Player following his senior season. Born January 27, 1983, Anderson attended Avon Old Farms School in Avon, Connecticut.
