Dolphins Cancer Challenge XV to Headline with Third Eye Blind at Finish Line Celebration

The Miami Dolphins have announced that the platinum-selling band Third Eye Blind will headline the Finish Line Celebration for the Dolphins Cancer Challenge XV (DCC XV), scheduled for Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Miami International Autodrome (MIA) located within Hard Rock Stadium.

Following a record-breaking fundraising year in 2024, during which more than $12 million was raised for cancer research, the DCC is set to return to MIA, home of the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix. This year’s event promises an elevated experience, building on the successful upgrades introduced last year.

Participants in this year’s signature ride, run/walk event will begin and end their journeys at the circuit’s start/finish line. Spectators are invited to rally behind the athletes from the Mad Dog Cheer Zone, conveniently located adjacent to the Finish Line presented by AutoNation. The excitement will reach its peak with a concert by Third Eye Blind, known for their hits such as “How’s It Going to Be,” “Jumper,” and “Semi-Charmed Life.” The band, hailing from San Francisco, boasts two platinum albums—Third Eye Blind and Blue—and has captured the hearts of fans for decades.

For those looking to participate, early registration is encouraged; sign up before January 10 to take advantage of a discounted fee. General registration for the signature ride, run/walk event will close on February 7. Interested participants can find registration and donation details at www.DolphinsCancerChallenge.com.

Since its inception in 2010 by the Miami Dolphins organization, the Dolphins Cancer Challenge has emerged as the largest fundraising event in the NFL. Its mission is clear: to enhance lives through financial support for innovative cancer research at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, part of the University of Miami Health System. Over the past fourteen years, the DCC has successfully raised over $75 million, donating 100 percent of participant-raised funds directly to Sylvester.

As the countdown to DCC XV begins, the Miami Dolphins invite the community to unite against cancer, celebrate life, and enjoy an unforgettable day filled with inspiration and music.
