Since opening its doors, James Beard Award-winning Chef Michael Schwartz’s Amara at Paraiso in Edgewater has been one of the most buzzed about waterfront restaurants in town. This year, the South Florida favorite is opening his kitchen to James Beard Award-winning Chef JJ Johnson, of Henry at Life Hotel in Midtown Manhattan and FieldTrip in Harlem, NY. Schwartz, alongside Amara at Paraiso Executive Chef Michael Paley, will pay homage to the city’s diverse culture through bold local flavors, as Johnson honors the complex and tangy flavors African diaspora through his dishes. Enjoy this global melding of cuisines, accompanied by perfectly paired wines from the Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits portfolio, in the heart of Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood.
