Dinner hosted by Ana Roš and Francis Mallmann

Perhaps one of the culinary community’s most fascinating and revered chefs, Francis Mallmann opens his kitchen to welcome Chef Ana Roš to SOBEWFF® for the first time for an evening of tropical elegance at the trendy and illustrious Faena Hotel Miami Beach. Crowned the World’s Best Female Chef by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants academy in 2017, Roš has put Slovenia on the gastronomic map. The self-taught Roš is the chef/owner of Hiša Franko, in Kobarid, Slovenia, which ranked 38 on the 2019 World’s 50 Best Restaurants list. A stunning countryside house overlooking the picturesque Soča river, Hiša Franko, is known for Roš’ superlative and eclectic local fare – that is sourced from its surroundings – and draws visitors from around the globe. Set in the sophisticated beachside luxury of Mallmann’s Los Fuegos restaurant, this unparalleled duo will curate a menu filled with Roš’ innovative remakings of traditional Slovenian dishes and Mallmann’s incandescent passion for rustic ingredients and open-flame culinary techniques – all accented by perfectly paired wines from the Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits portfolio.
