Under the direction of NWSA Dean of Theater, Alan Patrick Kenny, the college theater students continue the season with the “breathtakingly exciting” (Evening Standard) theatrical tour-de-force, Cyrano de Bergerac. A radical new adaptation of Edmond Rostand’s masterwork by Martin Crimp, which recently premiered to acclaim featuring James McAvoy in the title role, this new version renders the timeless story through spoken word, contemporary poetry, and raw physicality. Cyrano seduces in raps and rhymes, using his linguistic brilliance to help another man win the heart of his one true love—above all—championing his own unbridled love for words.
