Cuban Cinema Series returns next month with Juan De Los Muertos (Juan of the Dead) directed by Alejandro Brugués on Thurs, Dec 5 at 7PM at MDC’s Koubek Center.
This new Cuban Cinema Series will continue to showcase the best of Cuban films, programmed by renown film critic and author Alejandro Ríos and presented by MDC’s Miami Film Festival.
Juan The Los Muertos (Juan Of The Dead) tells the story of Juan and his crony Lázaro-two lazy friends who become unlikely heroes against an unexpected appearance of zombies in Havana, which the Cuban regime attributes to dissidents and the imperialist enemy.
