Conchita Espinosa Festival of the Arts

Conchita Espinosa Festival of the Arts

May 17 at 6 p.m.

Ziff Ballet Opera House | Tickets start at $64*

The Conchita Espinosa Festival of the Arts brings together children of all ages to work with a faculty of internationally renowned dancers, choreographers, musicians and visual artists to showcase their talent and artistic development and share with the audience the profound effect the arts can have on young lives.

Through the Conchita Espinosa Youth Orchestra and Choir, made up of over 100 young musicians, and a cast of over 250 dancers ages 3 through 18, Raices celebrates the process of growth for the young artists at Conchita Espinosa Conservatory of the Arts—their dreams, choices, risks, joys, obstacles and successes—and the connection we have with nature and one another.

Conchita Espinosa Academy and Conservatory of the Arts have been cornerstone institutions in arts education for over 90 years. The Festival of the Arts, a biennial tradition that began in 1933 Havana, Cuba and has continued in Miami since 1963, is a celebration that exemplifies the philosophy that all children have the right to a complete education in the academics and the arts, and the ability to grow as profound thinkers and artists.
