Commissioner Danielle Cohen Higgins Hosts Annual Community Conversation and Resource Fair

Commissioner Danielle Cohen Higgins will host the Annual Community Conversation and Resource Fair on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at the Dennis C. Moss Cultural Arts Center in Cutler Bay. This event brings key County departments and constitutional officers directly to the residents of South Dade.

The evening begins at 5:00 p.m. with a Community Resource Fair, offering residents the opportunity to meet one-on-one with representatives from Miami-Dade County departments, including RER, Solid Waste, DPTW, and Corrections, among others, as well as constitutional offices. At 7:00 p.m., the Clerk of Courts, the Tax Collector, the Property Appraiser, and representatives from the Sheriff’s Office, the Supervisor of Elections, and DPTW will participate in an on-stage presentation.

“For four years, this event has been about bringing government directly to the people,” said Commissioner Danielle Cohen Higgins. “Access, transparency, and open dialogue are essential to building trust and ensuring our community feels informed and empowered.”
