The New World School of the Arts College Chamber Orchestra is committed to cultivating a more curious and engaged society through music. The NWSA music division strives to amplify findings and share a wide range of repertoire in every performance, with programs ranging from classical symphony works to lecture-concerts on select composers such as Bela Bartók, to contemporary compositions. Led by NWSA music artistic director and violinist, Dr. Hyunjee Chung, this concert will feature newly written works and collaborations with NWSA composers, as well as core 20th century repertoire by composers including Penderecki, Riley, and Vasks to be performed by a group of nineteen college music students.
