Platinum recording artist and CMA Male Vocalist of the Year nominee, Cody Johnson, is set to kick off his highly anticipated 2024 tour on January 19th. The tour, named “The Leather Tour,” takes its inspiration from his upcoming album, “Leather,” which is scheduled for release on November 3rd, 2023.
One of the tour stops will be at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida, on February 16th, 2024. The event will feature special guests Justin Moore and Dillon Carmichael. Tickets for the show are already available for purchase on SeatGeek.com and at the Amerant Bank Arena Box Office.
Known for his explosive live performances and captivating stage presence, Cody Johnson has built a dedicated fan base that consistently packs venues across the country. In 2022 alone, the artist sold out an impressive 40 concerts. Critics have praised Johnson’s mastery of his country craft, with The Tennessean noting his “burgeoning mastery of the craft” as a defining factor for his growing success.
“Leather” marks Johnson’s latest studio album, following the well-received “Ain’t Nothin’ To It” released in 2019 and “Human The Double Album” in 2021. His major label catalog also includes “Cody Johnson & The Rockin’ CJB Live” and “A Cody Johnson Christmas.”
Cody Johnson’s impressive career includes four celebrated albums, multiple RIAA certifications, a Grammy win for “Country Song of the Year,” and a Pandora Billionaire Award. Joining Cody Johnson on tour is multi-PLATINUM hitmaker Justin Moore, known for his traditional country sound and captivating live shows. Additionally, Dillon Carmichael, hailed as “country music’s most convincing young star since Stapleton” by Rolling Stone, will also be part of the lineup.
The Amerant Bank Arena, located in Sunrise, Florida, is the state’s largest indoor arena and the second largest sports and entertainment venue in South Florida. It has been home to the NHL’s Florida Panthers and has hosted a wide range of major concerts, events, and performances, including renowned artists such as Elton John, Beyonce, and Harry Styles.
