Cleeks Golf Club, Europe’s LIV Golf team captained by two-time Major Champion Martin Kaymer, announced an innovative partnership with world-renowned mixed-media artist Jacob Felländer. Debuting at an exclusive exhibition at Superblue Miami, the collaboration marks the launch of a new cultural initiative that reimagines golf through the lens of contemporary art and immersive experiences. In partnership with LIV Golf, the trio unveiled a bespoke art installation symbolizing the 2025 LIV Golf League journey – a single image blending every host city on this year’s schedule, with Miami featured prominently as the kickoff location.
The collaboration stands for a connection between two worlds – golf and art. LIV Golf provides the perfect platform to bring this vision to life, making golf an exciting, expressive, and culturally relevant game. By uniting sport and art, these three entities are celebrating golf’s rich history while reimagining its future. Felländer’s vision is predicated on creating synergies between art and sports to help inspire the next generation of creatives. Whereas the Cleeks believe in leveraging the power of creativity as a life tool, which drives their vision to innovate the game and generate the greatest impact on fans.
“This is more than a partnership; it’s the beginning of an artistic movement within LIV Golf,” says Cleeks General Manager Jonas Mårtensson. “The Cleeks will continue to bring the passion [of art], while LIV provides the platform, and together we will challenge conventions, inviting new voices to see golf differently. The hero piece, symbolizing the LIV Golf 2025 journey starts in Miami but unfolds far beyond, turning physical artwork into an immersive, ever-evolving experience.”
On brand with LIV Golf and Cleeks Golf Club’s ethos of challenging the status quo, Felländer is known for bridging the gap between the old and new art forms, mixing techniques of analog photography, painting, virtual reality, and augmented reality. Jacob played college golf at Flagler College, understanding its discipline, traditions, and the need for creative expression within its structure. Photography and painting became his way of capturing movement, layers, and perspectives, much like the ever-evolving game itself.
“Similarly to golf, art is a play,” says Felländer. “And you don’t know where that’s going to take you. A collaboration like this is about moving the game forward, inspiring the next generation, making the game more inclusive, and proving that golf – like art – is about perspective, possibility, and play.”
Additionally, on Friday, Cleeks Captain Martin Kaymer will compete with a custom, paint-wrapped golf bag designed in collaboration with Felländer, a bold symbol of the partnership’s artistic vision. Off the course, fans can immerse themselves in the ‘Cleeks Garden Party’, an exclusive on-site experience located near the 18th green. More than just a hospitality area, the Garden Party is a vibrant fusion of golf, art, and culture featuring live music, interactive installations and a special live art performance by Felländer on Saturday, April 5th at 1pm EST. During the session, he will hand-paint a canvas of Kaymer’s golf bag in real time, offering fans a front-row seat to creativity in motion. Additional art pieces will be displayed throughout the venue all weekend, turning the course into a living gallery.
“While we [at the Cleeks] are aware we are shaking things up, we invite the rest of you to join us in challenging what’s normal by looking at the world through a different lens and doing things like they’ve never been done before,” says Cleeks Captain Martin Kaymer.”
The name Cleeks originates from a traditional long iron golf club from golf’s earliest days. Cleeks Golf Club aims to represent a bridge between golf’s storied past and its evolving future. Modern and timeless, the brand expresses a deep respect for tradition while maintaining a contemporary feel. The new brand symbolizes the intersection of heritage and modernity: Tradition Refreshed. In tune with owning the intersection of entertainment, sport, and culture, Cleeks kicked off the 2025 campaign with an eclectic collaboration with Martin Key, which produced a limited edition drop of high-end, luxury weekend bags.
