Clique Hospitality’s hip caviar bar and live music speakeasy hosted a rockin’ grand opening bash with legendary Van Halen frontman.
Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Sammy Hagar electrified the private grand opening celebration of Caspian’s Cocktails & Caviar at Caesars Palace on the iconic Las Vegas Strip last night, delivering a powerhouse set that had the packed house on its feet.
Known for his high-energy performances, the former Van Halen frontman treated VIP guests to an unforgettable evening, belting out classics like “Finish What Ya Started,” “Why Can’t This Be Love” and “I Can’t Drive 55. Hagar closed out the rousing set with a cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s hit, “Simple Man.” The performance, set in Caspian’s hidden music lounge, showcased Hagar’s enduring stage presence and vocal prowess.
The event kicked off with red carpet interviews, where Hagar shared his excitement for the launch and teased his upcoming nine-show Las Vegas residency, The Best of All Worlds Tour- The Residency, set to run from April 30 to May 17. Actor and world-famous professional mixed martial artist Randy Couture was also in attendance for the speakeasy’s grand opening celebration.
Guests at Caspian’s indulged in signature cocktails made with Hagar’s own spirits—a spicy jalapeno margarita made with Santo Blanco Tequila and a Jungle Bird, a tropical concoction made with Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum, Campari and fresh juices —paired with inventive bites like caviar waffles and Caspian’s Chips & Dip. Hagar himself took a break mid-performance to indulge in a bit of caviar.
Hidden behind a sleek caviar bar, the speakeasy and rock music lounge provided a dynamic backdrop for Hagar’s performance – a vibrant, yet intimate setting with sea-inspired hues, golden accents and a striking 16-foot chandelier.
Clique Hospitality’s latest venture, Caspian’s will keep the energy alive with nightly live music performances from top touring and emerging artists, including surprise performances by A-list artists. Last week, Macy Gray surprised guests when she joined the band on stage to sing Radiohead’s iconic song, “Creep.”
The caviar bar at Caspian’s is open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily, with the kitchen closing at 10 p.m. nightly. The live music speakeasy is open from 8 p.m. – 2 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 6 p.m. – 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
