This December, Capital One and The Cultivist will return to Art Week in Miami alongside acclaimed artist Alex Prager to create a surreal, cinematic installation – the Mirage Factory. Designed as a living work of art, the Mirage Factory will feature exclusive cardholder-only performances and a curated dinner. The Mirage Factory will also be open to the public for a limited time.

“The Mirage Factory allows visitors to escape into the dreamlike world of Los Angeles, to experience a heightened, fabricated vision that celebrates the artifice of the city and the dreams that built it. It evokes the spirit of Golden Age Hollywood, a cinematic fantasy of nostalgia, glamour, and illusion,” said Alex Prager. “It was a true collaboration working with Capital One and The Cultivist, who supported my vision and helped bring it to life for Art Week in Miami.”

At the Mirage Factory, guests are transported to a dreamlike vision of the Golden Age of Hollywood. This immersive environment extends Prager’s decades-long fascination with the tension between the staged and the real, and reimagines the city’s dream machinery as something much more intimate, uncanny, and alive. Award-winning chef Dave Beran will collaborate with Prager at the Mirage Factory for an exclusive Capital One cardholder dinner on December 2 and Martinis at The Mirage on December 4. Both food and beverage experiences will be accompanied by live music, with acts to be announced. Known for his Michelin-starred restaurants, Pasjoli and Dialogue, Beran’s menus are celebrated for their obsessive mise-en-scène and narrative storytelling.
