Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club has planned for Miami Art Week. The oceanfront property will debut two major art installations and a live sculpture activation, transforming its indoor and outdoor spaces into immersive galleries featuring works by multidisciplinary artists Hira Majeed and Denise Treizman. All programming is open to the public and welcomes locals, hotel guests and visiting art enthusiasts throughout the week.
Threads of Miami: “Wish You Were Here” by Denise Treizman – November 17–December 20
At the hotel’s adult pool, Cadillac will debut “Wish You Were Here,” a large-scale tapestry installation by Miami-based Chilean-Israeli artist Denise Treizman in the pool area. Presented as part of the City of Miami Beach’s No Vacancy program public art program, the 14-by-10-foot work reimagines a Miami sunset as a sculptural postcard.
Constructed from pool noodles, duct tape, zip ties and aluminum wires within a monumental wooden frame, the installation blends weaving, assemblage and reuse—signature elements of Treizman’s practice. Its palette of warm oranges, hot pinks, aquas and golden yellows celebrates Miami’s layered stories and communities.
Art Exhibition by Hira Majeed– December 1–7
This Miami Art Week, the Riviera and Riviera Terrace at Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club will become a contemplative gallery featuring new and award-winning works by multidisciplinary artist Hira Majeed. The exhibition explores love, loss and transformation through a mix of textured paintings and sculptural pieces. Highlights include:
• “Shibui”: A debut textured landscape inspired by the Japanese philosophy of quiet beauty.
• “Meltdown of the Heart and Mind”: A mixed-media exploration of vulnerability and renewal.
• “Protect Your Heart”: A sculpture honoring emotional resilience.
• “Business Development Prodigy The Robot”: A gold-illuminated humanoid sculpture that speaks and moves, examining the evolving relationship between humanity and artificial intelligence.
The exhibition is open daily from 9 a.m.–10 p.m. An opening reception will take place Thursday, December 4, from 6:30–8:30 p.m. in The Riviera Room. No RSVP is required.
Driven by Art: Live F1 Car Sculpture Painting by Hira Majeed – Tuesday, December 2
On Tuesday, December 2, at noon, Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club will host a live art activation on the hotel’s front porch overlooking Collins Avenue. Artist Hira Majeed will hand-paint “Serenity,” a life-size Cadillac F1 car sculpture crafted from clay and resin. Using color-shift paint that changes with the light, the piece bridges motorsport, design and contemporary art. Following the activation, the sculpture will remain on display at the property through F1 2026.
