Botanical Printing Workshop with Kasiopya at The Goodtime Hotel: December 11
Join family- and women-owned slow fashion clothing line Kasiopya for a Botanical Printing Workshop on Thursday, December 11, from 6-7 p.m. at The Goodtime Hotel. Guests will enjoy a specially curated à la carte menu for purchase and a creative session where they will utilize locally grown and foraged plants to botanically print their own silk noil scarf or two silk charmeuse pocket squares. Guests will choose their botanical materials, learning about each plant’s unique properties, how to prepare and arrange them on the silk, and bundle wrap the item. The event will be held at The Restaurant at The Goodtime Hotel, which was inspired by the 1950s Riva wooden motorboat and the nostalgic charm of a retro Miami living room. The space features bleached wooden floors, turquoise grasscloth walls, fringed rattan furniture and scalloped bar stools. Tickets are $150, and discounted valet parking is available for $20.
