| Don’t Shake the Spoon is the literary publication of Exchange for Change, a nonprofit whose mission is to offer “educational and communication skills-building courses to students who are incarcerated to amplify and bring their voices to the outside” and to provide “vision and understanding on both sides of the fence.”
Readers of this volume will discover a complicated and compelling array of insights and emotions: struggle, joy, anger, fear, regret, nostalgia, despair, hope, relief, empathy, restoration, and more.
