Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship Returns to Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood, Sept. 12

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), the World’s Fastest Growing Combat Sports Promotion, returns to Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood with BKFC-80, Friday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. BKFC-80 marks the promotions’ 12th at the famed venue with all previous events taking place in front of capacity crowds.

Tickets are on sale now and start at $60. All seats are reserved. Tickets are available at www.myHRL.com. Doors open a half-hour before showtime. Additional fees may apply.

BKFC-80 is headlined by The Rematch between World Class Heavyweights; Cuban Powerhouse and No. 1 Ranked Leonardo ‘El Zambo’ Perdomo, (8-0), of Miami, Fla. and Former Two-Time World Champion Arnold ‘Bomaye’ Adams, (7-4), of Chicago, Ill. Fighting on July 12 at Hard Rock Live, Perdomo, ‘The Mike Tyson of Bare-Knuckle Fighting’ was awarded a highly controversial, first-round stoppage. Dropping the former two-time world champion in the first round, Perdomo was declared the winner; however, Adams, along with fans in the arena and combat sports media, immediately demanded a rematch from a perceived fast count by the referee.

Also featured at BKFC-80 is the promotional debut of former MMA Superstar Yoel Romero against an opponent to be announced.

Standing 5’11” and of similar build as heavyweight boxing icon Mike Tyson, Leonardo Perdomo kicked off his 2025 campaign with a devastating first-round knockout of former boxing world champion Steve Herelius on March 27 at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Fla. Prior knockouts in the opening stanza under the BKFC banner occurred last year against Levi de Costa (Dec. 21, 2024), Steven Banks (Sept. 13, 2024), Leo Bercier (June 21, 2024) and Bobby Brents (Feb. 2, 2024).

The BKFC homegrown Perdomo made his promotional debut with a first-round stoppage of Joseph White (June 23, 2023), followed by the same result against Ryan Shough (Aug. 24, 2023).

A longtime and popular BKFC veteran, Arnold Adams became the company’s first heavyweight world champion by defeating Sam Shewmaker at BKFC-3 on Oct. 20, 2018. His second reign kicked off with a victory over then-champion Joey Beltran at BKFC Fight Night New York on Nov. 6, 2021.

Adams would successfully defend the world title against Dillon Cleckler on May 6, 2022, at BKFC-25 before having his title run stopped by Alan Belcher at BKFC-36. He challenged for the world title at BKFC-56 in a hotly contested clash with then-champion Mick Terrill, losing in a rematch of his prior victory.

Following an acclaimed amateur career, which included a Silver Medal in the Men’s Freestyle Wrestling competition at the 2000 Olympics representing his home nation of Cuba, Yoel ‘Soldier of God’ Romero compiled a heralded professional career with a record of 16-7 while becoming a true Superstar in the UFC and Bellator. The popular, fan favorite earned two ‘Performances of the Night’ and two ‘Knockout of the Night’ awards in the UFC.

Among the MMA victories for Romero were Thiago Santos, Luke Rockhold, Chris Weidman, Lyoto Machida, and Derek Brunson.
