On December 4, 2025, Back to Basics launched its inaugural event at SCOPE during Miami Art Week, celebrating four decades of SPIN Magazine’s influence on music. The exclusive party drew top music industry icons, influencers, and tastemakers for an extraordinary lineup of performances and showcases.
Highlighting the night were legendary artists like Clipse, CeeLo Green, and surprise guest YG Marley, along with vinyl sets from Kaz James and live performances by Amanda Reifer and Chiara Parravicini. The event emphasized authentic, raw musical energy and human connection, aligning with Back to Basics’ mission to celebrate craftsmanship across art, music, and culture.
Presented in partnership with SCOPE, the City of Miami Beach, and nonprofit partners Playing for Change Foundation and Marley Foundation, the event wrapped with unforgettable vibes and a focus on genuine artistry—marking a powerful debut for Back to Basics ahead of Miami Art Week.
