AST SpaceMobile Expands U.S. Manufacturing Footprint in Texas and Florida

AST SpaceMobile, the company building the world’s first space-based cellular broadband network accessible directly by smartphones, has announced new manufacturing sites in Midland, Texas, and Homestead, Florida. The expansion boosts the company’s capacity to produce its next-generation BlueBird satellites, which feature advanced bandwidth and speed capabilities.

With over 1,800 U.S. employees and five facilities in Texas alone, AST SpaceMobile is deepening its commitment to American innovation and job growth. The company’s efforts support major partnerships with AT&T, Verizon, Google, and others to deliver global satellite connectivity.
