Ed Sheeran plays Hard Rock Live in Hollywood this Thursday, October 29, as part of his LOOP Tour — and if you've been on the fence, this is the show to catch.
The LOOP Tour is built around the same thing that made Sheeran famous before the stadium years: a loop pedal, an acoustic guitar, and a voice that doesn't need much else. The format strips away the production spectacle and puts the focus back on the songwriting — which, for an artist with Sheeran's catalog, is a compelling proposition. Audiences at earlier dates have described it as the most intimate large-venue show they've seen in years.
Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is one of South Florida's best rooms for this kind of show — the sightlines are good, the sound is excellent, and the venue's size keeps it from feeling like a stadium event even when it's sold out.
Doors open at 7 PM. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and at the Hard Rock Live box office. If you're driving from Miami, the Brightline to Fort Lauderdale and a short rideshare is worth considering — parking at the casino on a Thursday night can be a project.
