This Weekend's Geography
1 neighborhoodBal Harbour Shops is going pink this October. The luxury shopping destination has lined up six boutique events throughout the month, each tied to Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. From flower carts to complimentary fashion illustrations, the programming is exactly what you'd expect from a property that takes its community role as seriously as its retail one.
Frette Flower Cart — October 10
Frette Bal Harbour kicks things off on Saturday, October 10 from 1 to 9 PM. The Italian linen house is hosting a flower cart in the boutique, offering beautifully curated bouquets to take home — a gesture that pairs the brand's signature softness with a cause worth supporting. It's a low-key, high-taste afternoon.
Monnalisa Goes Pink — October 13–22
The Italian children's luxury brand Monnalisa is running a ten-day initiative from October 13 to 22. Every purchase comes with a special floral gift — a small, considered way to raise awareness around health and prevention. The boutique is open daily 11 AM to 9 PM.
Cartier Eyewear at Morgenthal Frederics — October 14–18
Morgenthal Frederics is hosting a Cartier eyewear event from October 14 to 18, noon to 8 PM. The focus is bespoke: natural horn, exotic woods, dazzling diamonds, and custom lens designs. If you've been thinking about a serious pair of frames, this is the window to do it right.
Fashion Illustrations with Tod's — October 17–18
Tod's is setting up in the Center Courtyard on October 17 and 18 (noon to 5 PM) for complimentary fashion illustrations. It's free, it's in support of BCRF, and it's the kind of thing that makes a Saturday afternoon at Bal Harbour feel like more than shopping.
Valentino — Bouquet for Breast Cancer Awareness — October 17
On Saturday, October 17 from 2 to 6 PM, Valentino is offering a bouquet of flowers to guests in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A simple, elegant gesture from one of the most storied houses in the building.
Fashion Illustrations with Roger Vivier — October 24–25
Roger Vivier closes out the month's programming with another round of complimentary fashion illustrations in the Center Courtyard on October 24 and 25, noon to 5 PM. Same format as Tod's, different house — and a good reason to come back for a second weekend.
The Bigger Picture
Bal Harbour Shops has been running its Goes Pink initiative for years, and the consistency shows. These aren't one-off gestures — they're woven into the October calendar across multiple boutiques, each doing something distinct. The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is the throughline, and the programming gives shoppers a reason to engage beyond the transaction.
All events are free to attend unless otherwise noted. Bal Harbour Shops is located at 9700 Collins Ave, Bal Harbour, FL 33154. Hours: daily 11 AM – 9 PM.
