This year’s theme is “Celebrating Florida’s Historic Coastal Communities,” and our annual roster of free talks and programming features Wolfsonian curator Lea Nickless, scholar Anna Andrzejewski, and conservator Rosa Lowinger, each of whom will delve into different facets of Florida’s architectural history and the importance of historic preservation. 11am–12pm | Deco Deep Dive
Wolfsonian curator Lea Nickless will delve into  the stories of the Wolfsonian design elements (and collection objects) found in and around 1001 Washington Avenue.

1pm–2pm | The Florida House, 1945–1965
Scholar Anna Andrzejewski explores how, within a single generation, both coasts of South Florida were transformed into a sprawling suburban landscape.

3–4pm | Dwell Time
Based on her just-published memoir, Dwell Time, conservator Rosa Lowinger discusses preserving modern tropical buildings in Miami and Havana.
