During Miami’s Biggest Week, the Brand’s Arlo After Dark Nightlife Program Will Debut Alongside a Lineup of Art Activations, Gallery Events, Wellness Initiatives and more.

Arlo Wynwood, the first hotel to open in Miami’s preeminent creative and cultural district, has unveiled its Miami Art Week 2025 programming. From December 1-7, the entire property will serve as a dynamic hub for art, wellness and community, showcasing works by multidisciplinary artist François Piacente, digital illustrator Reyna Noriega, pop artist Greg Mike and more alongside an immersive ART ACCESS takeover and the Wynwood debut of Arlo After Dark.

With more than 250 works displayed throughout the hotel and a consistent calendar of cultural programming, Arlo Wynwood has become a natural gathering point for artists, travelers and locals alike. During Miami Art Week, the property amplifies that creative energy, transforming into a destination where art, sound and social connection unfold from morning to late night.

“Art at Arlo Wynwood is something to experience, not just observe,” said Jimmy Suh, president of Arlo Hotels. “Miami Art Week allows us to expand that idea across every corner of the hotel, weaving together visual art, movement and community in ways that reflect Wynwood’s creative pulse.”

Anchoring this year’s programming is the all-day ART ACCESS takeover on December 6, a multi-floor activation that brings together a global group of artists whose perspectives reflect the creativity, diversity and cultural richness of Wynwood. Designed as an open-flow concept, the event invites guests to explore installations, pop-ups, artist encounters and movement-based experiences.

Pop-surrealist Greg Mike, known for his bold color palettes, sharp linework and signature character “Larry Loudmouf,” has influenced contemporary street culture across Atlanta, bridging graffiti and fine art with nostalgia and rebellion. During Miami Art Week at Arlo Wynwood, he presents several large-scale installations at the hotel’s Higher Ground lounge alongside a MAD POP takeover at its ground-floor restaurant, Wyn Wyn.

Also at Higher Ground, French-born, Miami-based miniature artist François Piacente blends figurative realism with abstraction to explore the balance between strength and vulnerability. Working at an intimate scale, he creates detailed worlds that pair sculptural precision with expressive, gestural brushwork, offering layered reflections on resilience and the nuances of human connection.

Miami-based Argentine artist Jeronimo Gauna introduces a rhythmic, architectural visual language through his “Dragon Wings” series, blending analog and digital techniques shaped by his global travels. Guided by his mission to “stain the world,” his work embodies movement, emotion and the pursuit of beauty through contrast. Meanwhile, Chuave Hernandez, a Miami-based artist known for his electrifying color palettes and graphic-driven narratives, channels the pulse of the city’s urban pop scene. His murals and canvases honor the rhythm, individuality and cultural pride that define modern Miami.

The creative landscape expands further through the surrealist and abstract worlds of SOTO, a multidisciplinary artist whose vibrant compositions translate emotional and spiritual energy into bold, geometric forms, and Nour Yaaqobi, a self-taught 3D artist who turns introspection into sculptural form. Yaaqobi’s work centers on “QO,” a youthful figure that carries the weight of quiet feelings and unspoken experiences. Through his “Golden Tear Collection,” he reflects on the beauty found in life’s challenges, using the golden tear as a symbol of growth, strength and the lessons that shape us.

In Arlo Wynwood’s third-floor gallery space, an exhibition curated by PRAZZLE will highlight five women shaping contemporary creative culture: Reyna Noriega, a Miami-born artist whose joyful, color-rich work celebrates women of color; Florencia Clement de Grandprey, known for her symbolic portrayals of Afro-Latina empowerment; Jade Cassidy, a Berlin-based South African multimedia artist exploring resilience; Mina Alikhani, whose textured pieces reflect emotional evolution; and Sophie Wong, an emerging Asian-American artist combining digital and traditional mediums to explore transformation and modern femininity. Together, their works reflect on identity, empowerment and the evolution of womanhood.

Following successful editions in Williamsburg and Washington, D.C., Arlo After Dark, Arlo Hotels’ curated nightlife series program, will make its Miami debut in Wynwood, blending immersive lighting, LED visuals and projection art with live performances, complemented by bottle service, signature cocktails and a premium bar experience. The inaugural edition, presented as part of the ART ACCESS takeover, will feature the Brony Mixx Dance Project (BMDP), whose Afro-electronic fusion is shaped by Caribbean heritage; Flagrant Drvms, an NYC-based Afro-Latin house duo; and movement artist Ariana Belén Buscaglia, whose expressive style transforms music into emotion.

Rooted in Arlo’s commitment to creativity and well-being, the hotel’s Miami Art Week lineup also incorporates wellness-driven experiences presented by The Herd that invite guests to engage with the neighborhood in meaningful ways.
