Alex Prager Reimagines Hollywood at Capital One’s Art Basel Party in Miami

Miami’s Art Basel scene took a surreal turn Thursday evening as Capital One and The Cultivist hosted an exclusive party celebrating Alex Prager’s immersive installation, The Mirage Factory. Known for blending reality with artifice, Prager’s latest work transported guests into a Hollywood dreamscape—complete with a replica of Hollywood Boulevard, orange groves, neon-lit backyard, and Griffith Park scenes.

The star-studded guest list included Giveon, Janelle Monáe, Lori Harvey, Chance The Rapper, Kesha, Quavo, and more, who posed in front of a retro pink building draped with Capital One branding and snapped photos in front of a pink Porsche with LA-inspired backdrops. Ellie Goulding closed the night with a private performance of her biggest hits, capping off an evening that paid homage to the glamour and fantasy of Los Angeles—right from the heart of Miami.
