Jack and the Beanstalk

Kicking off the New Year is the Prince Street Player’s version of the classic story Jack and the Beanstalk (January 27 – February 27, 2010 on Saturdays at 2 p.m. and March 6 – March 27 on Saturdays at 2:30 p.m.). Based on the fairy tale by Joseph Jacobs, this wacky adventure takes the climb with Jack as he goes up the magical beanstalk into a world of friendly giants, evil barons, and dancing geese. With book and lyrics by Jim Eiler, and music by Jim Eiler and Jeanne Bargy, this fanciful musical is full of surprises that are sure to entertain.
