Homestead-Miami Speedway in conjunction with the NASCAR Foundation are soliciting local nominations for the Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award. As part of The NASCAR Foundation’s NASCAR Unites campaign, the Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award has been established to pay tribute to Mrs. France’s philanthropic efforts and to local humanitarian advocates who share the same spirit of generosity and commitment to children. The goal is to nominate individuals from Homestead and the South Florida communities who have shown a spirit of volunteerism in their support of children causes. The NASCAR Foundation has worked with fans to help children lead happier and healthier lives. At the heart of NASCAR’s efforts is Foundation Chairperson, Betty Jane France, whose dedication to The NASCAR Foundation and nonprofit partners is inspirational.
